Second Trampoline Park Opens in Guatemala
Sky Zone, the popular trampoline park franchise, has officially opened its second location in Cardales de Cayalá, Guatemala.
With over 200 locations worldwide, Sky Zone continues expanding in the country, adding this new park, which was built in just six months and 15 days.
“This allowed us to tailor the facilities to meet specific needs, including a ventilation system designed especially for the activities we offer,” explained Juan José Barneond, Brand Manager.
He also highlighted that Sky Zone welcomes guests of all ages, from children as young as three years old to adults looking for a fun and active experience with family and friends. The new park features five additional jumping courts, designed for safe and exciting play.
Safety First
“For us, safety is a top priority,” said Barneond. “We have capacity limits on each court to prevent overcrowding. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations are placed every 20 meters, and all visitors will use specially designed masks.”
Sky Zone also ensures hygiene and cleanliness with:
- Jumping courts disinfected every 15 minutes
- Special Sky Socks—anti-slip, antibacterial socks that help maintain cleanliness and safety
Boosting Employment in Guatemala
According to the Brand Manager, this new park is part of larger expansion plans in Guatemala, generating 45 direct jobs and 25 indirect jobs through suppliers, contributing to the local economy.
Miguel Ángel Ruano, General Manager, emphasized their focus on hiring individuals with the right attitude, even those with no prior experience:
